Suffolk Virginia’s East End Baptist Church is a fixture in the community – having served local parishioners a steady dose of positivity and spirituality since 1888.
Over the years, as they have grown to reach more people through their artistic programming, online services, and education initiatives, so have their needs.
“When we began planning to build a new ministry campus in 2015, we contacted many financial institutions to see what they had to offer us,” recalls Dr. Wayne Faison, Senior Pastor. “Atlantic Union Bank was able to provide the best loan package for our construction project and a permanent financing solution that would help us grow.” The church has been banking with us ever since.
Last year was not easy for them, though. When the pandemic hit, their operation strategies were upended. They needed help – as many businesses did – and reached out to their Relationship Manager, Jay Kenslow to see what he could do.
