In 2018, when Engin D. and Emin S., co-founders of One Stop Kitchen and Bath decided to expand to a new location, they had no idea it would lead to where they are now, with seven locations and ideas for further growth coming.
They know the secret to their success is the way they treat their customers – with the knowledge that every one has their own unique needs. Knowing that home renovations are very personal to each customer, it is important to get every job exactly right.
That’s why, when it was time to pick a banking partner, they needed someone who would be there and understand the specifics of their business. As Emin says, “We were looking for relationship banking.” After asking around in the community, they got a recommendation to talk to Neddal Abu-Taa, a Business Banking Relationship Manager at Atlantic Union Bank (AUB).
From there, a steady partnership has evolved. Neddal appreciates the empowerment that comes from working for AUB, where he feels he is able to do what is needed both to understand his client’s business and their personal needs.
That banking approach has worked for Engin and Emin. “As business owners, we need to be able to reach the person we want to talk to when we need it,” says Engin, and that is the customer service he gets from Neddal and AUB.
Knowing that Neddal understands how the construction lifecycle works, and seeing how AUB came up with better solutions to the opportunities they had to expand their business have made Engin and Emin feel confident in their banking relationship. They’ve even referred some of their friends and family to Atlantic Union Bank and have heard great things about the partnerships that have resulted from those referrals.
As Engin and Emin set goals for the future for One Stop Kitchen and Bath, they can move forward confident that they have a banking partner who knows them personally and is excited to find tailored solutions for the opportunities they encounter as business owners.
