Bio

Christy leads the Portfolio Management team of Sandy Spring Trust. Christy’s investment management experience spans 25 years and includes roles with a boutique wealth management firm, regional financial institution, and a Fortune 500 company. Christy holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. She was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation in 2003 and is a member of the CFA Society Washington, DC. Christy is a native Montgomery County resident, an active member of her community, and has served on the Board of Directors for a local non-profit organization.
