Bio

As Executive Vice President and Chief Audit Executive, I lead our internal audit and credit risk review functions. My focus is helping the bank manage risk, strengthen controls and improve the efficiency of our processes so we can better serve our customers.

I’ve worked in financial services for over 17 years, beginning my career in public accounting and consulting after graduating college. I’ve spent my entire career helping organizations identify challenges early, operate more effectively and build strong, sustainable practices.

I’m driven by the challenge of problem solving and energized by the opportunity to find practical solutions that help our teams work smarter. I view what I do as essential to maintaining the bank’s safety and soundness. Managing risk is only part of the job—helping people work more efficiently and confidently is just as important.

Originally from Virginia Beach, I earned both my BBA and M.S. in accounting from James Madison University (JMU). After graduating, I started my career and family in Northern Virginia while working in public accounting and consulting. My family moved to Richmond when I joined Atlantic Union Bank in 2021, and we’ve loved raising our two young sons in the greater Richmond area.

Away from work, I’m happiest spending time with my family and close friends. I’m an avid golfer and someone who loves being outdoors—whether I’m on the course, at the beach or enjoying time at the lake. Above all, I’m most passionate about family and the connections that ground me.
