Bio

Jay brings over 28 years of lending experience to our Home Loans team, serving the Lynchburg, Westlake and Bedford, Virginia regions. He is passionate about helping clients at all stages of homebuying – from first-time homebuyers to move-up borrowers. His areas of expertise also include private banking clients and medical professionals.

As a top producer, Jay is driven by living up to the trust his clients and referral partners have placed in him. It’s his top priority to exceed their standards, deliver quality customer service and strive to always meet closing deadlines. Jay believes that responsiveness, attention to detail and having a solid financial background are the characteristics a good Mortgage Loan Officer needs to deliver quality advice.

Jay graduated from Radford University located in the neighboring town of his favorite college sports team, the Virginia Tech Hokies. Fun fact: His father played for Virginia Tech and was a coach when Jay was in elementary school. When he isn’t working or watching the big game, Jay enjoys traveling with his wife and visiting their two children in Richmond, Virginia, where they both attended VCU.
