Bio

I’m excited to serve as President of the Greater Washington and Maryland Region and Integration Executive at Atlantic Union Bank. With more than 25 years of experience in the regional and community banking space, focused on client relations, lending and strategic planning, I enjoy developing business strategies that drive profitable and sustainable organic growth and leading teams of talented bankers that deliver our products and services in a team-oriented and collaborative manner.

I’m most passionate about working with our individual and business clients to help them achieve their personal and business goals—from saving for college or retirement, to buying a home, to growing and transforming their business.

Prior to joining Atlantic Union Bank, I spent 18 years with Sandy Spring Bank serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer, leading its Commercial and Consumer Banking units.

I earned my BBA in Finance from James Madison University and am actively involved in several leadership, board and philanthropic roles, including being a member of the George Mason University (GMU) President's Advisory Cabinet, co-founding member of GMU's National Leadership Council and former Chairman of their Board of Trustees.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three daughters, walking the trails with our shepherd mix and playing golf.
