Jon Roth

Bio

Jon has worked in financial services since 2019 and now serves as Vice President, SBA Business Development Officer. In this role, he supports internal sales teams with expert SBA lending knowledge, manages referrals and drives external business growth by leveraging a wide network of centers of influence and long-standing client relationships. His proactive, solutions-driven approach allows him to deliver tailored SBA financing strategies that help businesses grow and thrive.

Jon specializes in SBA lending solutions for business acquisitions, changes in ownership, franchise financing, service industries, equipment financing and debt refinancing. Before joining Atlantic Union Bank, he built a strong background in business development and program management, including serving as a Strategic Sales Program Manager at Sandy Spring Bank. His earlier career included technical and program management roles, giving him a unique perspective on aligning operational leadership with financial strategy.

Originally from Olney, Maryland, where he still lives with his family, Jon is an avid golfer, soccer player and pickleball enthusiast. He also coaches his two young sons’ soccer teams.
