Bio

In my career I'm passionate about helping teams meet their goals and have successful outcomes. When the Atlantic Union Bank team wins, I feel like I win.

As general counsel for Atlantic Union Bank, I am energized by the ever-changing challenges and opportunities my team and I face as we work to be a resource for departments throughout the organization. We keep the shareholder’s interests front and center as we make decisions every day.

I joined Atlantic Union Bank in 2010. Prior to that, I worked in law firms in the Chicago area, negotiating deals and finding solutions for large national and regional banks. I graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia with Bachelor’s degrees in Russian language and Journalism, and earned a J.D. at University of Virginia School of Law.

Learning is a lifelong endeavor for me. I love to read – from history and science to good and not-so-good fiction, and everything in between.
