Sandra is a Trust Advisor with more than 30 years of legal experience helping individuals, families and businesses navigate complex situations with confidence. She specializes in trust and estate planning and administration, guardianships, conservatorships and fiduciary services, taking a thoughtful, strategic approach to preserving assets and planning for the future.
Before joining Atlantic Union Bank, Sandra built a distinguished legal career advising clients on estate planning, trust creation and administration, business formation, succession planning and probate matters. She has worked with a wide range of clients, including young families, business owners, seniors, fiduciaries and multigenerational households.
Known for her analytical mindset and ability to simplify complex topics, Sandra is passionate about building lasting, trust-based relationships. Clients value her attentive listening, clear guidance and steady support through important financial and life decisions.
Sandra has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to the legal profession, earning honors such as Leader in the Law, Virginia Legal Elite, Virginia Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Spanish linguistics, with a minor in Spanish business, from the University of Virginia, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami.
Originally from Southside Virginia, Sandra lives in Danville, VA. Outside of work, she enjoys running, longevity and health-span training, spending time with family and learning new things.
