Bio

Southy has been with the bank since 2020, and before that she had over 20 years of experience practicing trusts and estates law in Northern Virginia.

A native of Fairfax County, Virginia, she graduated from Williams College and the University of Virginia School of Law.

During her legal career, Southy co-founded a law firm, served as chair of the Virginia State Bar Trusts and Estates Section and taught adult education classes in estate planning and probate for Fairfax County Public Schools. She is currently a member of the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council.
