Bio

Dante Jackson has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry during which he has held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership. He is currently the Vice President of Institutional Advisory Services at Atlantic Union Bank. In this role, Dante works exclusively with nonprofits and government entities on investment strategy, policy development and execution. Dante is also responsible for leading strategic initiatives for the asset management group.

Dante serves on the Board of Directors of Sheltering Arms Corporation and as a Trustee of the Virginia State University Foundation. His governance experience includes prior service as Chair of the Virginia College Savings Plan (Virginia 529) and as a Trustee of the Richmond Retirement System.

Dante brings extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of capital markets, investment strategy, leadership, and board governance to our team. He earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a BS in Accounting and Finance from Virginia State University, and a Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors.

An amateur chef in his spare time, Dante is also an avid history buff, collector of Japanese Bonsai, golf enthusiast, and enjoys spending time with his family.
