Debra is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) with over 15 years of experience. She also specializes in compliance.

She holds an undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Mississippi College, School of Law, a Master of Laws in Taxation (L.L.M.) from the University of Denver, Strum College of Law and the CTFA designation from Cannon Financial Institute.

As a Danville native, Debra is a board member for the Danville Science Center and a member of The Wednesday Club. She also belongs to the Virginia Bar and the American Bankers Association.
