Grey Merryman, CFA, CAP®

Bio

Grey brings over 30 years of experience in financial services to Atlantic Union Bank Wealth Management. He currently manages our Wealth Relationship Group, Trust and Operations. He develops customized strategies for his clients that include investment, estate, and retirement plans, as well as exit strategies for business owners.

Grey’s clients have always come first. “My entire career has been focused on one mission: giving clients great advice about what to do with their companies, their portfolio and other assets,” he says.  “I’ve always tried to help my clients find answers to the questions that they struggle with to give them peace of mind about their finances.”

Originally from Pennsylvania, Grey holds a BBA in Finance from The George Washington University and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation from the CFA Institute. Grey holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, CAP designation from the American College of Financial Services. He currently resides just north of Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and children.

When he’s not helping clients, Grey loves wakeboarding, waterskiing, fishing, hunting, spending time on his boat with his family, and riding his Harley Davidson.
