Bio

Jon has more than 23 years of residential lending experience serving clients across the North Carolina Triad, including Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Burlington and other areas throughout the state.

Jon specializes in complex lending scenarios with expertise spanning conventional, VA and self-employed lending, as well as construction financing, certified buyer pre-approvals, portfolio products and specialized loan programs for medical professionals and attorneys. He has built a strong reputation for guiding clients through the construction lending process, from lot purchase to completion, and for helping small business owners navigate challenges that other lenders may find too difficult to address. Where others see obstacles, Jon sees solutions.

Clients value Jon’s thoughtful approach, clear communication and commitment to addressing their needs. He’s particularly passionate about helping clients who've been told no elsewhere or whose situation doesn't fit neatly into a conventional box. Many of his clients return for future transactions and refer him to friends, family and colleagues. Jon operates on the foundational idea that the right loan matters more than the lowest rate, as the lowest rate often isn't the best deal.

A lifelong Greensboro resident and graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Jon is actively involved in the community. His service includes the Nat Greene Kiwanis Club, the Piedmont Triad American Red Cross and Leadership Greensboro, where he was a member of the Class of 2015 and served as Program Chair for the Class of 2016. Jon and his wife have three children and have called Greensboro home for more than two decades.
