Ricardo Hernandez

Bio

Ricardo is a Trust Advisor and Bank Officer who specializes in trust administration and serves as a dedicated partner to high-net-worth individuals and families. With more than seven years of experience in financial services, he works closely with trustees, attorneys, CPAs and other professionals to ensure the thoughtful and effective management of trust assets. He serves as the primary contact for clients and beneficiaries while assisting them with trust structures for wealth transfer, asset protection or charitable giving.

After earning his BBA in Trust and Wealth Management from Campbell University with a minor in Financial Planning, Ricardo transitioned into private banking. There, he specialized in serving ultra-high-net-worth clients with a minimum of $3 million in assets. With his previous organization, he served on a leadership committee that invested in community outreach programs such as the Latinos in Virginia Empowerment (LIVE) Center and the Sacred Heart Foundation.

Bringing a holistic and compassionate approach to wealth management, Ricardo believes trust and honesty are the foundation of any strong relationship and takes pride in offering guidance that is both strategic and personal. He’s passionate about helping clients understand the value of a dollar and empowering them to take charge of their financial futures.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Ricardo now lives in Richmond, VA, with his partner and their dog. Outside the office, he enjoys live sports, concerts, cycling, running and visiting art museums. One of his dreams is to visit all 30 Major League Baseball Stadiums and one day retire near his family in Veracruz, Mexico.

Fun fact: Ricardo is named after his father’s childhood friend, Ricardo Rincón, a former MLB pitcher.
