Fredericksburg, VA
We’re honored to have played a key role in the ongoing development of the historic downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia area, including financing the construction of the recently opened Liberty Place.
In addition to being the new home for Atlantic Union Bank’s local commercial banking and wealth management teams, the 43,000 square-foot mixed-use building will also accommodate other business offices and food retailers on its ground level.
“Liberty Place will bring new jobs, tax revenue and activity to the entryway of our beautiful historic downtown,” says Bill Freehling, Director of Fredericksburg’s Department of Economic Development and Tourism. “Our preliminary projections anticipate a significant amount of yearly revenue coming to the city from the Liberty Place commercial building alone.”
Three Chopt Road, Richmond VA
For years, we operated a small storefront branch tucked away within the Village shopping center in Richmond’s Near West End neighborhood. Our new branch at 7000 Three Chopt Road, directly across from that shopping center, is a 2,210-square-foot modern construction with a drive thru and dedicated parking lot.
“We are confident that this larger, state-of-the-art facility with drive thru service will be a welcome upgrade to customers who are seeking an easier, more efficient banking experience,” says Maria Tedesco, President of Atlantic Union Bank.
The new branch has retractable glass walls to allow for flexible use and multi-purpose capacity, including meetings and other gatherings.
Scott’s Addition, Richmond VA
Historically an industrial area, the now trendy Scott’s Addition section is one of Richmond’s top up-and-coming areas, featuring several breweries, nationally-noted restaurants, and a collection of newly constructed condos, office spaces, and other business-related establishments.
Atlantic Union Bank is excited to announce our expansion into this historic part of town with a new street-level branch opening in late July on a bustling block of residencies and newly opened businesses.
