Bank on Ending Hunger Makes an Impact for a Second Year

Once again, Atlantic Union Bank teamed up with customers and local food banks through our Bank on Ending Hunger campaign to help provide meals for neighbors facing food insecurity.

Summer can be an especially challenging time for families when school meal programs pause and access to affordable food becomes more difficult. Bank on Ending Hunger was created to help address that need by turning an everyday milestone, opening a new checking account, into an opportunity to give back.

From July 1 through September 30, Atlantic Union Bank donated the equivalent of four meals to local food banks for every new checking account opened.

Thanks to our customers, this year's campaign helped provide more than 57,000 meals for individuals and families in need.

A Partnership That Helps Strengthen Our Communities

Bank on Ending Hunger builds on Atlantic Union Bank's longstanding relationship with food banks throughout our footprint. From Baltimore to Raleigh and everywhere in between, we are proud to support the thousands of employees, volunteers and distribution partners who work hard to help make a difference for the people and places we call home.

Banking That Goes Beyond Banking

At Atlantic Union Bank, being a regional bank means doing more than helping our customers reach their financial goals. It means showing up for our neighbors and investing in the communities we share.

We're proud of what our customers helped make possible through Bank on Ending Hunger 2026, and we're grateful to everyone who opened an account and helped us support the important work of food banks throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
