We’re excited to welcome our new Wholesale Bank Market President, Steve Lamanna. Steve leads the bank's commercial banking efforts across the Lynchburg and Danville markets. With more than 27 years of banking experience, he partners with business owners, leadership teams and community stakeholders to deliver tailored financial solutions that support growth while strengthening the local economy.

Throughout his career, Steve has held leadership, retail banking and commercial banking roles, giving him broad experience serving clients across Virginia. Today, he works closely with commercial clients to provide lending, treasury management, deposit and strategic banking solutions designed to help businesses operate efficiently, pursue new opportunities and achieve long-term success.

Steve is passionate about helping others achieve their goals, whether that's a business owner pursuing growth, a colleague advancing in their career or a community benefiting from economic development and investment.

A lifelong Virginian, Steve grew up in Amherst and returned to the Lynchburg area in 2003 after beginning his banking career in Northern Virginia. He attended the University of Mary Washington and lives in Forest with his wife and their two children. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, home improvement projects and spending time with family, most often cheering on his children at sporting events.
