Bio
George knows investing. He also has a knack for empowering his clients with knowledge: “I can simplify some more difficult investment themes in a way that clients can understand.”
He comes to us via the Access National merger and brings over 40 years’ worth of experience to our team, including serving as Assistant State Treasurer for the Commonwealth of Virginia, Municipal Finance Banker for Craigie, Inc., Fixed Income Trader for Tredegar Trust Company (the predecessor of Atlantic Union Bank Wealth Management) and as Director and Portfolio Manager for StableRiver Capital Management.
George is most complimented on his knowledge of municipal finance and tax free bonds and his overall experience in fixed income markets.
He holds a B.A. from Washington & Lee University and is a member of the Bond Club of Virginia and Southern Municipal Finance Society. He also serves on the Board of the Westhampton Citizens Association.
