Bio

Pete brings over 35 years of experience in financial services to our SBA lending team. Since beginning his career in 1990, he has held both management and production roles, building a wealth of expertise across the industry. Today, he focuses on SBA loan business development, with a specialized knowledge in business acquisitions, expansions, franchises, healthcare and commercial real estate.

Pete is recognized for his straightforward communication style and his ability to balance the client’s and the bank’s best interests. He is often complimented by business owners for keeping his word and for genuinely caring about their success. As a trusted advisor, Pete takes pride in helping entrepreneurs navigate the SBA process while presenting a realistic picture of what to expect from start to finish.

A graduate of Troy State University with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Law and Business Administration, Pete went on to earn a Master of Justice Administration, as well as a juris master degree in financial regulation and compliance from Florida State University Law School. He is also a member of several honor societies.

Outside of work, Pete enjoys spending time with his family and exploring art and architecture. He is passionate about legal issues, nature, wildlife, the environment and business.
