8 Ways Our Mobile App Can Help You Manage Money Easier

When you are on-the-go and need to bank, we’ve got you covered. The Atlantic Union Bank mobile app is like having an anywhere/anytime bank at your fingertips. If you didn’t already know, our mobile app has a robust set of features to elevate your banking game -- helping you keep an eye on your accounts, monitoring your spending habits, paying people and businesses you know, and more.  Let’s take a look and see what the app can do for you.

1. Keep track of your accounts

When you have 24/7 access to your accounts with us, it’s easy to keep track of your balances, purchases, and spending habits. Keeping tabs on your accounts can not only increase savviness about your finances, it can help you save better, make you aware of any potential erroneous charges and identity theft, and help you stay on budget. You can also use the Quick Balance feature to view your account balances and most recent transactions without logging in.

2. Set up alerts

Need to know if your checking account balance dips below a certain limit? With the app, you can set up text or email alerts to help monitor any of your account balance changes. It makes it easier to avoid overdrafts when you know if your balance is getting low. In addition, alerts can help you keep awareness of your purchasing habits, transfers made to your accounts, large transactions, etc. – you can also set spending limits on your debit card.

3. Pay bills

With the app’s Online Bill Pay, you can schedule one-time or recurring payments to pay bills on time and see bills that you’ve received from payees. You’ll also retain a digital record of payment history in case you need to reference it. (NOTE: Adding your regular or monthly payees is easy with our Autofill feature).

4. Control your debit card

Have you ever lost your debit card or thought it was stolen? The Debit Card Controls feature works like a virtual on-off switch where you can turn it off if you’re concerned. If you find it or realize it was a false alarm, just go back and turn it on.  

5. Monitor your credit

With SavvyMoney, we make it easy to monitor your credit score. It’s also a great way to help protect yourself from fraud. We give you a full TransUnion credit report, on-demand, so you can view your credit history, track your credit over time, and get notified about credit changes.

6. Deposit checks

Banking anywhere/anytime is super easy when you can make check deposits whenever you choose (Deposit amount limitations may apply). With the app, you can take a snapshot of your check with your device’s camera and have it deposited to your account in seconds. (In many cases, funds are available the next business day).

7. Transfer money

Moving money between your accounts with us is simple with the app. You can set up one-time or recurring transfers among your checking, savings, or money market accounts – in addition to any Atlantic Union Bank loan account you might have. You can also transfer money to another financial institution. (For example: if you're funding a retirement account at another institution.) Funds typically post within three business days, but you can request next-day service.

8. Pay people you know and trust with Zelle®

Zelle® makes it easy to send money to or receive money from your friends and family – no matter where they bank. Just enroll with your mobile phone number or email address to get started, then select a contact or type in a U.S. mobile number or email address of the person or business you'd like to send money to. You make requests for payments the same way. The built-in calculator makes it easy if you need to split payments to multiple recipients.

How to get the Alantic Union Bank App

Visit the App Store (for those with Apple products) or Google Play (for those with Android operating systems) to download the app. Search for “Atlantic Union Bank” and when you find it, install it to your device. Log in with the credentials you use for Online Banking or, if you don’t already have an account with us, you can set up a new account.
